I Hate You

Baby, we were so good together

I haven’t been this happy since birth

Why did you leave? Was it the weather?

Or maybe Mars came too close to Earth?

You made me happy. I thought it was mutual

All of a sudden it came to an end

All that you said was you saw no future

Told me that you could no longer pretend

You were so damn determined to leave me

Chanted “it’s over” as if in a trance

Nothing I said would make you believe me

We could be great again given a chance

When we first met you were so enthralling

Oh, how I loved you, if only I knew!

Why did nobody stop me from falling

For a psychotic cruel bitch like you?

What do I do? Do I drink cyanide?

Jump of the roof? Or eat razor blades?

If I believed it would change your mind I’d

Dance in a minefield juggling grenades

Die in a plane crash or drown in a lake I

Don’t care as long as it makes it all pass

To stop this agony I’d even take a

Bath in tub filled with broken glass

I hate you – for what you’ve done

I hate you – for leading me on

I hate you – for making me cry

I hate you – for letting love die

I hate you – and all that you touch

I hate you – I hate you so much

I hate you – like summer hates snow

I hate you – more than you know
